Dhaka Gate is a historical monument of the interior of Dhaka University adjacent to Ramna. It is also known as Mir Jumla Gate. The gate was built during the Mughal period, named after the Mughal subedar Mir Jumla. It used as the entrance of old town.
The yellow Mir Joomla archway can be seen passing the Curzon Hall of the University area and going to the Bangla Academy through Doel Chattar. One of the three parts of the gate is towards the renewable energy research center of the university, the middle part is in the middle of the road divider and the other part is towards the Suhrawardy Udyan next to the shrine of the three leaders.
