“LSD the subway experience” is a project born with the aim of offering to a wide audience present in the subway, some visual hallucinations that most travellers have never experienced.
Our thinking is based on the book by Aldous Huxley, “The Doors of Perception”, and testimonials from individuals who have experienced LSD. This exhibition aims to recreate these distortions of perception without taking drugs.
During his daily journey, the traveller will have his subway line distorted as if he were dizzy, this effect also being reproduced in the poster. Tickets and subway cards have also been reworked for the occasion.
Light installations are shown on the walls, in reference to the colored hallucinations, characteristic of the LSD taken.
A website lists all events and installations in the subway. The round and uncluttered style of the poster is repeated in the website design.
