Font Orlando

Orlando is a project developed during the High Professional Course in Type design of Politecnico di Milano.
We've been divided in several teams and we began creating a new typeface based on an old not well defined font. The principal aim has been to finish the form of the old printed letters to develop a new one. My team and I chose a font (similar to "Bodoni") that we found in a very old venetian book of 1785.
Orlando is an elegant serif typeface, can be used mostly for the headline but it suits good also for the texts.
