BOTA BAGS
A bota bag is a traditional Spanish liquid receptacle. Typically it is made of leather and used to carry wine. The original Spanish bota bag was made of leather & pig or sheep stomach.
These bags hold significantly more liquid than many water bottles, making them ideal for long trips. Eco conscious individuals tend to favor bota bags over water bottles because they are usually made from organic materials.
The pocket of air between the inner & outer layers often insulates the beverage within. This means water, wine & sports drinks can be kept cool for several hours.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The idea was to introduce water bag range for riders for the Brand Royal Enfield, keeping in mind the functionality of the product using leather as the main material & giving it a suitable look.
INSPIRATION
The form of one bottle is inspired by headlight of the Royal Enfield Bike. It has a detachable torch which can be used while hiking. One can simply carry this bota bag on chest. Another bottle is directly inspired by the fuel tank of this bike. One can carry it as a shoulder bag.
