In the winter of 2020, I had the opportunity to embark on a school trip to Israel and Jordan. The journey was an unforgettable experience, allowing me to delve into the rich cultural and historical diversity of the region. We wandered through the vibrant streets of Jerusalem, marveled at the imposing fortress of Masada, and explored the stunning valley of Dana in Jordan. As we traversed the vast expanse of the Wadi Rum desert, I felt like I was a part of something larger than myself. However, returning to Prague proved to be a daunting task as we were faced with the imminent threat of a global pandemic and the sudden closure of borders. Nevertheless, the memories of our adventure still linger, and the images captured will forever serve as a reminder of the awe-inspiring journey we embarked upon.
