Taxes Manager is a mobile application that was developed to make it easy for large institutions and companies to pay large amounts of tax easily and comfortably by their mobiles. The challenge in this project was how to communicate the whole picture through a simple and written logo in order to attract everyone's attention when seeing it.
The application relies entirely on the percentages of taxes and tax invoices, which led to the reflection of an image in my mind in the final form of the logo. We see the logo of a mixture of writing and the upper percentage mark in the middle of the logo with the letter "X", which made it a balanced and simple logo.
The chosen color may raise many questions about its relationship with taxes, but it is known that the green color indicates the hard or international currency, which is the dollar, which made the application developers choose it in the user interface and made it a suitable choice to be in the logo and this is what the client told me in the interviews for the project.
Color psychologies behind the selected color "Light Green" including calm, balance and safety, and this is what the client wants to convey to the users of the application, especially safety, so the choice of color was appropriate.
Where possible, your logo should tell a story. A short, simple, to the point kind of story. But, beware of going overboard. Your logo shouldn’t bear the burden of telling the whole story of your company’s history, beliefs, or mission statement.
