My sister has battled Diabetes since she was 5 years old. For 15 years we went to the JDRF walk in downtown STL but when Lindsay was in highschool and I left for college we were unable to attend.

Raising money, attending walks and fundraising events for Juvenile Diabetes was such a large part of our childhood. We hated seeing our little sister have to take 3-5 shots a day, endless finger pricks, and suffer through eating sugar free candy.

This year, five days before the walk, one of Lindsay’s closest friends got the crew back together. I gathered the facts and designed the shirts that same day, hoping I could get orders, sizes and them printed on time. Luckily, there is a great place in Lawrence that does fast printing. I was able to send the order of 25 shirts in Wednesday night and picked them up Friday at lunch, before driving back to the STL.

They were a hit and I am so glad we were all there to support Linz!
I was really impressed with ACME. The printing quality and colors were spot on for such a short turn around.
