This was my first independent project which I created in Paris.  I based it on two directions, the horizontal and the vertical, as in our movement we have backwards and forward and left and right.  Every fabric has a pair.  I have named my work "FootSteps" as I have started on a path to becoming an artist. At the beginning of each new weave I increased the yarn thickness by one strand first 1, 2, 3 and so on and so on like a natural walk, just put the feet one after the other. But there is, in it, a fixed white thread that represents the one and unchanging thing in my life, God. He is the eternal constant from which all things begin and to which all things end.
