UDA is one of the pioneers in the Malaysian property development industry, especially in the area of planned urban development.

Established by the government on November 12, 1971, the Urban Development Authority (UDA) was given the responsibility to promote planned urban development. After over 30 years of successfully fulfilling its responsibilities, UDA was incorporated on September 1, 1996 and became known as UDA Holdings Sdn Bhd.
