Carbon fiber first-aid extrication and backboard

First-aid extrication and backboard, made in carbon fiber.


Ergonomics analysis and user-interaction with the device.
The system is made of an extrication device for extrication of driver from car crash or rescue in tight spaces, and a backboard for immobilisation and transportation of patients. 

The innovating bit of this system is that it allows the operators to put the patient, previously immobilized into the extrication board, directly onto the backboard quickly, without moving the patient between the two.
The devices are made of CF, for high resistance and lightness, and a layer of insulating material inside to preserve the patient from cold ground.

CF allows x-rays to pass through.
