I selected these 5 examples of cultural appropriation because they are different from the typical stories of huge powerful fashion companies making profit by selling and commercialising ethnic garments from different cultures with no respect to their history. They exemplify how the legislation is supporting acts of cultural appropriation and how well- known brands and designers can also become victims of cultural appropriation.
