We were assigned to create a poster and small social media campaign for a fictional upcoming event. I decided to create one for an annual Battle of the Bands.

I wanted to encompass the fun energy a battle of the bands has so I chose to create mine mainly out of illustrations. I decided to keep my colors muted, pulling in the primary colors, rather than stick with more generic battle of the bands and rock concert colors. 

I toyed around with the idea of making my social media posts a banner when put together but instead liked the idea of three separate illustrations instead. 

I ended up tying everything together with the hashtag may the best band win to through in a bit of light hearted competition, the best part of a battle of the bands.
