"A picture is worth a thousand words," we hear this idiom all the time, but when you really think about it, there is a lot to say about one image. The word count increases by the second, but what about those image that combine two unlikely items into one? Using the seven creative strategies-  Juxtaposition, Combination, Isolation, Metaphor or Simile, Physical/Shape Similarity, and Material Change, Swap or Focus, I have taken an everyday object- a paintbrush and placed it in unusual places to create images with unique perspectives!  

This project was to represent a simple, useful object through the lens of the creative strategies as a way to think out of the box and find creative design solutions through the expression of meaningful ideas!
