For my back cover, I really wanted a texture of a white bed sheet, as in every single shot, I’ve used a white bed sheet as my backdrop due to shooting at home. Initially I used a stock image found online, mainly as a placeholder, and then I photographed the actual bed sheet I used at home.

I used the same set up, with it hung on the wall, my camera on the tripod and my LED mirror as my lights. I only took a few shots as it’s just a plain sheet, and then in photoshop I got rid of any major shadows and brought up the brightness.

In my layout, I simply added the new image to the final page and put my back cover text over it, with my name in the bottom corner. I was a bit worried the text would be a little hard to read but it’s actually fine, and it really makes the book come full circle.
