MADRE MICELIO
Madre micelio es una organización chilena, sin fines de lucro, que con apoyo de otros países de América Latina, se dedica a acercar el reino de los hongos a las personas, valorar su poder medicinal y resaltar la etnomicología y su comprensión.
La primera parte de este proyecto fue desarrollar el nuevo branding de la organización, diseñar un kit de autocultivo de hongos comestibles, tarjetas educativas con información importante de varias especies del mundo fungi, stickers y merch. Mientras que la segunda parte su diseñar y producir las gráficas para el America Fungi, el 3er Encuentro Latinoamericano de Micología, destinado a académicos, amantes y aficionados a los hongos, donde se impartirán talleres, habrán actividades y hasta clases de cocina; con la intención de explorar los usos y peligros de distintas especies, pero sobre todo dirigido a educar sobre sus propiedades medicinales, comestibles y recreativas.
Las ilustraciones fueron hechas en base a los 9 hongos favoritos del equipo de madre micelio y toda la producción fue hecha a mano por todas y todos, quienes trabajamos en comunidad para sacar el proyecto adelante.

Madre micelio is a Chilean non-profit organization that, with the support of other Latin American countries, is dedicated to bringing the kingdom of mushrooms closer to people, valuing their medicinal power and highlighting ethnomicology and understanding.
The first part of this project was to develop the organization's new branding, design a self-cultivation kit for edible mushrooms, educational cards with important information on various fungi world's species, stickers and merch. While the second part was to design and produce the graphics for America Fungi, the 3rd Latin American Meeting of Mycology, aimed at academics, lovers and amateurs of mushrooms, where workshops will be given, with activities and even cooking classes; with the intention of exploring the uses and dangers of different species, but above all aimed at educating about their medicinal, edible and recreational properties.
The illustrations were made based on the 9 favorite mushrooms of the mother mycelium team and all the production was handmade by each and everyone, who worked as a community to carry the project forward.
