LANIX es una empresa mexicana fabricante de dispositivos electrónicos como smartphones, tablets y laptops por mencionar algunas. Fue fundada en la ciudad de Hermosillo, Sonora, en el año de 1990.
Los conceptos trabajados fueron: INNOVACIÓN, MEXICANO y LIDERAZGO.
En un estudio de la empresa, se encontró que sus productos siguen una línea de nombres basados en la cultura griega.
LANIX is a mexican company that innovates tech world with smartphones, tablets and laptops just to mention some. It was founded in Hermosillo, Sonora, in 1990.
This project was done under the concepts of INNOVATION, MEXICAN and LEADERSHIP.
Under a study of the company, it was clear some of their products were named based on greek culture.
The name for the smartphone, Kaiphos, came from two greek words:
-Sophos, which means "knowledge", and not keeping that knowledge for oneself but to share it with others.
-Kainotomia, which means "innovation".
The name for the earbuds, Kalinome, came from two greek words, too:
-Gnome, which means "judgment", being critical and honest, distinguishing between the good from the bad.
-Kalyteros, which means "the best".
