The prompt for this project was to create a poster and coordinating social medias for an event of my choice. 

Growing up, my family had always lit lanterns during the summer and they have such a special place in my heart. This project was my way of sharing that love with others.

The lanterns are all different sizes as a reference to the different people that will light them. The stars were added to fill up empty space and to give the graphics more texture overall. The title was given a script font for emphasis and to draw attention. The rest of the text is a different font but all within the same family to encourage fluidity and for better readability.
