My humble tribute too one of the greatest creator known to this world on his centenary year , the great Stayajit Ray , on whom the legendary Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa said "Not to have seen the cinema of Ray means existing in the world without seeing the sun or the moon".
I still remember as a kid how I use to get overwhelmed seeing illustrations done by him on the pages of Feluda mystery books and novels like Fatikchand " as I use to get mesmerized equally by the simple enigmatic drawings of Herge on Tinitn comics ... I still believe these two gentleman had a great impact on me to build up affinity towards the world of illustrations and cartoons from my very childhood!
We wont forget you ever ...You will be omnipresent in your Films , Novels, Illustrations, storyboards , paintings ,in your created characters , in your Film posters, in the lyrics of songs written by you, in the music you created and many many such priceless creations of yours !!!! Take a bow Maharaja , one of the greatest creator on this earth, deep from my heart !!!
