Project: Jewellery Catalogue

For this project I proposed a brief to create a photoshoot for a jewellery catalogue. The company has a dark edgy feel to it so I wanted to play on that in the photographs. I also wanted to experiment with ice and water so in some photographs I froze jewellery and plants in small ice cubes as well as large one litre containers in order to create unique ice sculptures. I also experimented and submerged the model partially in water. Another techique I used was to position items onto glass and shoot them from underneath. I feel like this selection of photographs, although using various techniques, all come together to look cohesive.
