LA LINTERNA & TERRAQUEO.STUDIOEl 25 de octubre del 2020, tras 6 meses de quedarnos varados en Bogotá por la pandemia de COVID-19, conseguimos llegar a bordo de “Tere” (nuestro estudio móvil/hogar) hasta la ciudad de Cali, donde se encuentra una conocida imprenta tipográfica llamada “La Linterna” ahí nos recibieron con mucho amor y conectamos hasta el punto de no dudar en colaborar con ellos dentro de su programa de residencias diseñando un cartel. Todo el proceso lo gestionamos a lo largo de una semana siendo Hector Moncada, nuestro ilustrador estrella de Terraqueo Studio, quien se encargó de la ardua labor de grabar arte al linóleo, mientras que Perla Galicia, nuestra veloz diseñadora editorial, fue la mente maestra detrás de la composición y selección de tipos móviles. Nos encantó participar en este proyecto, y presentarles el resultado final es todo un honor. El cartel de “La Linterna” representa nuestra ruta por Latinoamérica conociendo los músicos más buena onda, con quienes siempre es un placer coincidir en el camino.
Del Caribe a la Patagonia (aunque aún no hemos llegado) Latim(n)os ROCK.
On October 25, 2020, after 6 months of being stranded in Bogotá due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we made it to the city of Cali aboard “Tere” (our mobile / home studio) where a well-known printing company called "La Linterna" is located. They received us with great love and we connected to the point of not hesitating to collaborate on their residency program by designing a poster. We sprinted the entire process in over a week with Hector Moncada, our star illustrator at Terraqueo Studio, in charge of the hard work of carving the linoleum art; while Perla Galicia, our speedy editorial designer, was the mastermind behind the composition and selection of mobile types. We loved participating in this project, and presenting the final result to you is an honor. “La Linterna” poster represents our route through Latin America, meeting the coolest musicians, with whom it is always a pleasure to meet along the way.
