A rice brand created in my Final Major Project class. The brief given was to create a realistic brand and I picked Bario rice from Sarawak. One of the problems is that not many people know about the Bario rice as it lacks advertising. The brand aims to show the natural forms of rice through pattern design at the same time look premium, exclusive and elegant for people that are obsessed with top quality Malaysian rice. The patterns on the packaging were inspired by the Oryza plant and created using brush illustrations; each box is different in colours, one is white and brown rice packaging.
