BAFTA award winning production studio Arthur Cox approached us to collaborate with them on digital archive project ‘A Time Traveller’s Guide to Bristol’. We participated in the facilitation of a series of workshops with young people to generate visions for what 6 hotspots in Bristol would look like in the future. Response
To take the ideas from sketch pad to realistic imagery was a real challenge. After developing our own concept art for the views, we photographed each location. Then using a mixture of digital modelling and painting techniques we constructed the final images.To take the ideas from sketch pad to realistic imagery was a real challenge. Results
The project was launched on the S.S. Great Britain as part of the ‘Festival of Ideas’. The films has been seen by thousands at viewings at the Bristol Art Gallery, Arnolfini and on the BBC screen in Millennium Square.The project was launched on the S.S.
