This graphic is intended to be a large print poster. The event being advertised is an art show hosted at the Central Country Museum of Art. The graphic was created in a mimic style of the amazing Paul Rand. The graphic elements he often used where high contrast, the use of the color red, odd alignments, and often the use of shapes. The distorted shapes are to represent the era in which Paul Rand designed. In 1960's graphics often shapes where not drawn in perfect shape to add dynamic and create interest. This design is effective in execution his style, while still being original and unique to myself as well.
