"INTERFERENCES, the 10th edition of the blown glass workshop, wants to highlight art in all its stages and manifestations: the finished art object, the performed art, the narrated art.
The Department of Ceramics - Glass - Metal UAD invites you on Thursday, November 14, 2019, to INTERFERENCES, the 10th edition of the blown glass workshop. This anniversary edition aims to intersect fine arts with classical music.
Along with the interactive demonstrations of hot glass modeling we will open an exhibition of picto-objects, the result of inter-departmental collaboration in the workshop SHAPE / COLOR / MATERIAL, works made by students of the Department of Painting, coordinated by Lecturer Univ. Dr. Andrei Ciurdărescu and students of the Department of Ceramics - Glass - Metal, coordinated by Lecturer Univ. Dr. Dan Alban and Assistant Univ. Dr. Alexandra Mureșan.
The artistic experience will be completed by Zănatec, a project that brings together musicians and instrumentalists in different arrangements, architectures and purposes. During INTERFERENCES you will listen to the quartet no. 4 in C major K.157 by Mozart and Béla Bartók, six Romanian dances arranged by composer Dan Variu. Zănatec was born out of a love for classical music and a desire to bring it closer to people. Zănatec events take place in ordinary spaces, with a life and an energy of their own, not necessarily related to music."
