The evil eye project !
This is something that all street photographers come across sooner or later. Is that look that can either make you quit the streets once and for all or make you fall in love with it.
Is that ''got ya'' look that gives you that instantaneous chill , a feeling that many street photographers like me know and anticipate as part of the game. In my case that look is not only well anticipated but many times I even provoke it, either by waiting until the subject notices me or by yelling to my subject so I can be noticed. I guess the thrill of having to de-escalate the situation is what I am looking for. A more direct way to develop my people skills so I can produce more powerful images.
It's amazing how many things we humans can say to one another via a single look and in this project I'm gonna introduce you to some of my most intense ''conversations'' I had during these four years that I am shooting the streets. Hope you'll enjoy it.
