STORY
Lazy Ants is a dj and producer born in Fiuggi but roman by adoption, we met years ago when I was searching for a dude capable of doing great music with an inclination into experimentiation and silly memes and started a strong collaboration since.
Months ago while talking about crypto, we decided to join forces and ideas to try to release his new ep through NFT adding physical and digital goods like a wonderful dance of different stages of evolution.
Well , WE MADE IT.
Lazy Ants new EP BAD TRIP was released only as NFT, living in eternity on the blockchain.
Forever free.
This drop was our bet and we hope to bring more musicians and their music here in the NFT world!

TECHNICAL ASPECTS:
All the emojis come from the same Houdini project where, with some custom commands, I've created a setup where you can choose the emoji, the type os simulation and the just hit render. It will handle all the caches and the render for you in approx. 4 hours for each emoji. (up-res sims too :O)
The names of the track were randomly generated as some descriptions into the NFT. We wanted that "bot touch" in our visual EP, infact also the voice in the official launch video is an A.I. speaking.

What a ride.
During this project we started thinking big, especially about the future of the EP as a form of art as it was always related to the music field but now the tech allows more featuring between different artistic field.
Like a new medium that acts like a bridge between others!
One of the project that slowly built in my newborn crypto mind are VISUAL EP! Now that music and visual arts can be bounded forever, EP can evolve and be a feature between musicians and visual artists.
I’ve decided to share the opportunity I got by entering Cryptoart with my fellow musicians and sound designer out there, still not aware of the potential of this tech, helping them entering this world and freeing them from the harshness of this period where music can only live through big platforms and cannot rely on festivals or partys and its slaved by middlemen.
I’ll put my capacities at the service of something bigger, collaborating with musicians for their future drops creating VISUAL EP, each living in their own personal world and mood.
My personal future goal with VEP (Visual EP, should we call 'em like that?) project is opening a space in the metaverse and transforming each room in a never ending looping EP.
THE BIRTH OF VISUAL EP (VEP)
With the BAD TRIP VEP we were also interviewed on SOUNDWALL (IT)! Lorenzo (@mrclflv0001 - TW), the guy who mixed the tracks explained well our bet! We're now looking forward to have more resonance in the mainstream world as this new tech unleashes art and artists freeing them from lots of middle man by putting them in charge.
Big collabs are comin', Coreless Collective, Dj Rou, CyberSpeak, lots of new and different sounds will live on the blockchain forever!
