Mountebank Wine | packaging
Mountebank Wine labels are full of hints for the clueless dinner party host. The name of the company, Mountebank, and the name of each type of wine, flimflammer, swindler, and pettifogger, are all synonyms for imposter, the intented audience for this label. The animals suggest food pairings, the holding shapes on each label cue the proper glass, the animal’s accessories hint at descriptions for the wine (i.e. the red wine (cow) is smoky) and the pile that each animal stands on indicates the flavor notes and nose. The host can slide out and pocket the “Imposter’s Guide” card for reference and guests will be none the wiser.
