This was a rather ambitious piece of diy self promo. It combined a number of ideas into one thing quite neatly, though in practice, proved fairly troublesome. I had been looking for a theme to produce more idea based work. The idea of a concertina style portfolio of work had appealed to me, and I had developed an interest in vintage matchbox graphics. When the pun-esque title 'Bright Sparks' (marrying a potential brand name for matches with what you may call someone who's had a good idea) came to me, my mind had already started to run away with ideas, so it had to be made.
