Story
Upon the arrival of the pandemic, many people started working from home. With a drastic shift in work life and personal life, days may feel boring and repetitive. People are looking for sensory escape, both mentally and emotionally, as they navigate the new normal.
Especially for those in quarantine, the inability to go outside can create a negative and bad mood. We created AROCA to bring surprise and spark a positive ritual to highlight your day.
From exotic scents like sea spray and spice markets, your desire for both thrilling and relaxing feelings can now be sensorially experienced from the safety of your home.
What is AROCA ?
AROCA is a box of aromatherapy cards designed to inspire people. Each card features an illustrated place, a unique scent, and an inspirational quote, bringing people travel through imagination and evoking positive emotion.
How it works : first, pick a card based on the feeling you desire. Maybe you need some uplifting energy to start your day or you are seeking a quiet moment of relaxation. Next, scratch off the surface of the card. You’ll find a guiding quote and discover an enticing, enjoyable scent.
The set contains 20 cards. The cards are divided into 5 emotions: stimulation, relaxation, energy, inspiration, and freshness, with 5 corresponding colors: red, blue, yellow, purple, and green. The deck has 20 different places and scents.
