I created a book publishing company called Southern Sapling Publishers, which required 3 separate logos for each genre of publishing. Each logo consists of an open book, as well as a line the eyes follow. These lines mimic the way eyes read books, whether that's the standard left to right, a crazy path for children, and a sophisticated and quick pattern for the antique books. Each path is it's own unique pattern, but still communicate the beloved act of reading that this publishing company is aiming for.
