The brief asked to create a magazine dedicated to the 21st century. Main request was to source and produce content exploring the theme of politics.
Inspired by ZINE culture, our publication challenges the social media aggressively enforcing political correctness. TRUMPET a curios, unbiased platform allows the public express controversial opinions anonymously and openly, showing all sides of discussions on important, taboo and controversial topics through honest debates, direct opinions and unfiltered interviews.

TRUMPET is a reference to loud and intrusive opinions inspired by Donald Trumps Twitter account.

Magazine Cover is designed to depict the statement ‘Political correctness is shaping the privilege of freedom of speech’. Using transparency [cover printed on an acetate] and bold duo tone imagery extracted from our photoshoot in keep with TRUMPETs tone of voice and ZINE origin.
TRANSRACIAL - THE CULTURAL DISOBEDIENCE
My challenge was to design and balance 10 page article, using long body copy, including at least 3 images. Article dealt with new cultural identity, Transracial-ism and its consequences.

INDEPENDANT PHOTOSHOOT - LAYED ACROSS 10 PAGES
The photo-shoot aimed to reflect TRUMPETs personality and support the statement ‘Political correctness discriminates against freedom of speech’, through uncomfortable close-ups created using an unconventional photography - Scanography.
This method allowed me to captured the raw ZINE culture, and recreate a restricted, claustrophobic feeling of being silenced through political correctness.
