Ferguson Protests: BLM, 2015

The Ferguson Protests are from 2015 when I was involved in film photography. I’m from St. Louis, and when Michael Brown was shot by a cop and left in the street, people all over Missouri would gather and lay down in the middle of intersections to bring awareness to police brutality and neglect. The two photos depict a woman holding a Black Lives Matter sign, looking into the camera after she had just been spit in the face by a white man, and two white people laying down in solidarity.
