What A Load Of Rubbish
What a Load of Rubbish is an ongoing project of mine, where I have challenged myself to draw 60,000 pieces of litter, if stupid or dedicated, I'm not sure yet. I am doing this because this is the number of individual items collected from the Suffolk Coastline beaches, where I live, by the Beachwatch and Adopt-A-Beach projects in 2009. I want to raise awareness on this issue that is very important and close to me. Not only does it look unattractive, it also makes the seaside unsafe for the public and children, as well as polluting the sea, and harming the wildlife. So far I have drawn 555 pieces, so watch this space.
