ANA CISNEROS - PHOTOSHOP
Hi there! My name is Ana Cisneros, and I am a student at California Polytechnic State University studying graphic communications. This a collection of work I have done in Adobe Photoshop in my first year. Thank you for taking the time to look over my work. Every day I am learning new things about this field of study, and every day I am working to get better. Although I am very proud of my accomplishments thus far, I know I have the potential to grow even more!
Color My World!
My class and I were tasked with the challenge of changing the color of specific objects in a photo. By using the quick selection tool, I was able to isolate certain objects and change hue. For example, I changed the color of certain strawberries in the first example. In the second example, I changed both the background, and the color of the mans hair. There are many ways to isolate an object in Photoshop. I find the quick selection tool to be the easiest. Once you have an object selected, there are many options in changing its color. To name a few, you can change the brightness, hue, or even add a solid color to it. These assignments were very fun! Isolating objects, adding color, and creating specific layers are all valuable skills I learned because of these assignments. I am very happy with the way the end results turned out.

Photoshop Tricks
This project was apart of a Linked In Learning Path assignment. The path was called, “Photoshop Tips, Tricks, & Techniques.” I chose this path because it was intended for Photoshop beginners. After completing the two hours of the instructional video, and practicing on my own photo, I feel exponentially more confident in Photoshop. In this path, I learned how to use both the blemish tool and the clone tool. With these tools, I was able to touch up any blemishes, and even remove my sister’s tattoos! I also learned how to liquify a photo to adjust facial features. I practiced whitening teeth, adjusting skin tones, and changing the color of specific objects. Although the final product is not very exciting or aesthetic, I am proud of the work I put into it. It was really great for me to get more practice with photoshop. I was able to harness and perfect the fundamentals. After completing this path, I’m ready to take my skills to the next level!
