ALTAILEGENDS

Altai region is surrounded by mysterious legends about powerful nature places, about fairytale creatures living at the bottom of its incredibly deep lakes and of course about voodoos with their campfire dances in the forest.
This colourful land breaks absolutely all our ideas about Siberia. Being the siberian western part, it starts its welcome with a wide green embrace, takes turns to the martian rainbow hills, and opens the doors to its pearl of the natural resource - Belukha mountain.

This greenery spreads by soft carpet where mountain streams play with sun glares, bears walks on their age-old path and sound of silence flies over tens of kilometres with a gentle breeze keeping the secret of this untouched natural corner.
The contrast in views is so strong that you have this peculiar feeling to have been visited different countries during only one day ... each day. This feeling doesn't quit you all along the whole journey. And truly speaking you are on the cross of Russia, China, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

You admire a foggy cold morning on the lake and you see the sunset after a good swim the same day, you enjoy wind artsy creations and walk along the bear trail hidden in high grass one hour later, you are delighted by an alpinist feat to the Belukha mountain and could not believe to your eyes meeting Darashkol turquoise lake on another side of it.
