I was given full carte blanche for creating the interior of this upscale locale. I endeavored to create an artistically sensorial atmosphere for a unique dining experience by integrating my art style into the interior design.

Mr. Semigiò at the entrance of the restaurant is saying "hello!"...
Mr. Semigiò, a tall elegant Italian dandy. I wanted to give the name 'Semigiò' (an invented word composed with the initials of the three owners: Sergio, Mirco, Giorgio) a meaning, creating a sort of avatar to embodies the values and ideas that inspired the creation of the restaurant.

Semigiò's ties. I bended and sewed a very long canvas creating the ties. After having painted them they were exhibited in the special niche on the wall.
The pocket watch is painted, but the hands are real, casted in metal following my design. The Watch is working, I made the wall carved to crete a niche for his mechanism.
The floor is decorated with letters in metal of different fonts and size, they create a 'galaxy of meaning'. At the entrance, we wrote a very special sentence “Life is the art of meeting”. Semigiò is an artistic place where people can meet, talk in a very relaxed and special atmosphere.
The walls shine, thanks to a special varnish: in this way the art is not only protected but more bright and the colors more deep, recreating the visual feeling of my oil colors paintings.

We took care of every little details
All around the column I painted the harm of an invisible waiter serving a very special drink: I painted the peculiar cocktail with a mix of special varnishes, to make it reflect the light with different hues, depending on the light and point of view.
The strange wire-ball on the table is the light, yes! You touch it and you can control its intensity.
The external windows of the kitchen covered with a motif reproducing a city skyline during the night. In this way we covered the silhouettes of the furniture transforming it in an interesting visual effect.
Semigiò's Coffee Cup. A special gift for a special occasion. The set is numbered and comes with a certification of authenticity.
