We were given our first assignment regarding Juxtaposition Photography and Illustration. Juxtaposition is placing two subjects closer to each other to create a noticeable difference towards the audience. For this assignment we were asked to capture five different photographs and juxtaposed it creatively using digital illustrations done in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and make a photobook out of it.
My theme for my photobook is about depression because I can relate to it. So, it is easier for me to visualize the photographs and illustrations. My means of medium is using a mobile phone ( i.e. Iphone 7 plus ) to capture the photographs. Iphone 7 plus has a special automatic camera setting that allow us to capture in a various ways such as, we are able to capture in a different angle with special effects.
The Iphone 7 plus camera setting are as follow:
• Wide-angle: ƒ/1.8 aperture
• Telephoto: ƒ/2.8 aperture
• 2x optical zoom; digital zoom up to 10x
• Optical image stabilization
• Autofocus with Focus Pixels
• Exposure control
• HDR for photos
• Auto image stabilization
• Burst mode
