The pagan totem made of animal skulls

Travel educates, as the saying goes. However, at that time we had more questions than answers. When you are walking in the forest you can meet wild game, deer or hare. You can also find forest fruits such as blueberries or aromatic mushrooms. However, on that day, in a thicket of bushes near a small lake, we saw a pagan totem made of animal skulls. Who made it? Why? When? We had no idea. One thing is for sure. This place is one of a kind. It radiates the power of fantasy drawn from Slavic myths and legends. The first association that came to our mind was nithing from The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski. A powerful charm that results in a slow and painful death. Another idea was witchcraft or pagan rituals performed here on the occasion of Kupala night or another Slavic holiday.
There are many theories regarding the emergence of this temple. Which of them is true? Maybe we'll find out someday. Meanwhile, we invite you to the gallery!
