1.  Why must they create every single sound for animations and games?
2.  Why can't actors/actresses actually smash a glass to have the real effect?
3.  Why can't actors/actresses use real explosions?
4.  Why can't movie crews install a real phone that actually calls the actor/actress?
5.  Why can't actors/actress attach microphones to their ankles to record the actual sounds?
6.  Why can't actors/stuntmen/ and actresses/stuntwomen do their own fight scenes and actually make contact to make it look real??
7.  How do sound designers/directors know what all these science fiction sounds are supposed to sound like?
8.  Why can't they use a microphone when recording real rain?
1. Because of copyright and also the fact that it's your own work, so you should assumedly have your own audio and animations.
2. It could injure someone.
3. It could injure someone x2.
4. Costs to mush money.
5. Though it is the actual sound it doesn't sound like what are minds think it sounds like, if that makes any sense.
6. It could injure someone x3.
7. They don't, they just make it up.
8. Gets the microphone wet, and covering it with an umbrella, well, now it sounds like rain is hitting an umbrella.

Magic impact sound: I punched lettuce that I had in the fridge and then added reverb, chorus, amplified it up, and then pitch shifted it down 5 semitones.

Ambient magic power source: Recorded myself making a "aaoooh" sort of noise, gave it an ethereal reverb, and then pitch shifted it down 9 semitones.

Body falling to ground: I recorded myself crumpling paper and gave it "room ambience" reverb, amplified it down by 9.45, and then pitch shifted it down by 2.
