Last year I was a little bit obsessed with the idea to redraw an old skateboard. Once I've visited a local board shop BORN.RIDERSHOP and they gave me a deck - slightly curved, almost abandoned)
I've removed the original print with the sandpaper (it was not so easy, so you can notice a glass of wine somewhere near), sketched a draft with the Procreate, covered the deck with primer, and start to paint it with acrylic. It was my very first experience with traditional materials, so most of the time I've just cried on the floor.
