Project: Sea Voronoi Coffee Table
In collaboration with Johnelle Smith, I designed a coffee table inspired by the sea and the porous surfaces of coral, utilizing the principles of bio-mimicry. This project was realized as part of the Rhino 3D Sculpture course taught by Erwin Regler at Concordia University in 2016.
The Sea Voronoi Coffee Table was a fusion of art and functionality, with its intricate design mimicking the natural patterns found in coral reefs. We employed laser cutting and CNC machining in the fabrication process, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
The table's unique design and craftsmanship were a testament to our dedication to innovation and creativity in the field of design. The Sea Voronoi Coffee Table was not only a functional piece of furniture but also a work of art that brought the beauty of the sea into any living space.
