Motion graphic loop as a music video for Loser Supreme's single "Immortal" (released March 12, 2021). Designed and animated in Blender 3D, edited in Adobe After Effects.
The buildings are looped with a generator on two offset curves. The character is rigged with free-fall movements in a static position in front of the camera. The buildings in the rear are set to rotate at half the speed of the buildings in the front, creating a sense of parallax. The character's hair uses a particle system with a wind forcefield blowing up and towards it to further the viewer's sense of a free-falling motion
The animation was rendered in Eevee using Freestyle to create the outlines. No shaders or lights were used, just RGB colours as the surface. This minimal setup rendered very fast and the continually changing lines of Freestyle helped vary the otherwise consistent building design in the background.
