The clouds parted and God spoke, “Noah, you have 40 years to build an Ark, take your family and gather two animals, male and female from each species. I will bring forward a flood that would wash away all life and flesh from this world.”-- The Bible, Genesis.

God flooded the earth because he regretted creating humans. Noah was chosen by the god to complete his plan for creating a new world with pure hearted people and animals. 
Noah was 500 years old when god spoke with and told him about building an Ark. Noah was the 10 descendant of Adam and Eve and lived for 953 years and he had three sons, he was a farmer by profession. The Ark was measured in cubit the length was from a man’s elbow to the tip of his middle finger. It took 100 years to build an ark bring all the species together. After the Ark was made it rained for 40  days & 40 nights and the whole earth was flooded. After the flood Noah his family and the all the species stayed on the Ark for a year.

After coming off the Ark, god showed a rainbow as a sign of covenant (promise) for all mankind that he would never flood the earth like that again.

Noah was 500 years old when he had three sons. He was a farmer and could also build a ship that’s why god chose him. He sinned like other humans, but he was “a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time”. Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, Japheth.
