I started my project with a woman drawing. My idea was to have my object that was breaking a frame be something that somebody had drawn on paper and it was coming out of their paper/book. I used this picture because it had enough space around the paper so that I could have things coming out of it, but also the paper was still the main focus of the image.
Next, I added a drawing of butterflies onto the image of the girl drawing. I wanted to put butterflies flying off of the page for my image that was breaking the frame, so I found a drawing that I could put onto the girl's paper that would allow for me to do that. I used the eraser tool to get rid of the part of the image that was covering her hand, and made it look like her hand was resting on top of that part of the page.
I next added two more butterfly images. One was on the page and the others were flying off. The one on the page I stretched using the command key to make it seem like it was sitting on the paper and make it seem like the girl had actually drawn it onto her paper.
This is the final product of my project. The butterflies are the main part of the image that is meant to be "breaking the frame". I changed the coloring of the smaller butterflies to make them less neon colored, and match the colors of the other butterflies, the off white paper, and the girls dark yellow jacket.
