This integrated cooking guide with a workbench and bracelet includes kids in the cooking process, teaches and gives tasks and makes cooking fun like playing a game.
 
More than 1700 entries from all over the world were submitted, and after three rounds of elimination, Electrolux selected this project as one of the top 50 entries competing for a place in the final of the Electrolux Design Lab 2013.
 
This year Electrolux Design Lab challenged design students in the overarching theme of Inspired Urban Living, featuring three focus areas to choose from: Social Cooking, Natural Air and Effortless Cleaning. I chose social cooking, and focused on how we can enclude childeren in the cooking process. This is mye idea and concept development.

 Gamification in cooking.
Bracelet with sensor. Every player gets their own color. Flexible and comfortably, in rubber and graphén. The electrolux logo lights up, and guide you in the kitchen.
Touch the bench to activate it. The bench recognizes your fingerprint and logs on to your profile.
When logged on you can choose more players, look for recipes, change the settings, or just start the game. View your profile by touching your name.
The EduKitchen App. See when dinner is ready, and who is making it. Sensors in the kitchen, from the bench and kitchen devices registers progress.
Sync your phone with the smart bench. See what you have in the fridge, and what you need of groceries for dinner. Share your dinner plans.
