About:
Hotel Kokořín offers a unique atmosphere for active rest and relaxation. You can stay in 14 different rooms with a unique interior design and in 5 private villas on the slope. The villas are arranged as a series of saddle-shaped wooden houses, built on terraces laid on a concrete base, lined with natural stone. The layering of the land to gradual levels offers each villa a private view of the mountain panorama and the whole area.
Location:
The hotel complex is located in the middle of the picturesque nature of sandstone rocks and beautiful lakes directly below the Kokořín Castle. Just 40 km outside Prague, you will find countless hiking trails and bike paths, which meander between bizarre sandstone formations and mysterious gorges.

Floor plans & sections:
The building presents a single-storey wooden house in the shape of a saddle, oriented to the east-southeast. The height of the building is 8 meters and the floor area is 52 square meters. The building is complemented by a terrace in the north, east and west. Load-bearing structure — a simple wooden frame, laid on a concrete (or stone) base
In the north, the skeleton (supporting structure of the roof (rafters)) is tightened to the ground and visually passes to the sloping columns holding the terrace surrounding the house. The interior of the house represents one large room, hallway and bathroom. The main entrance to the building is from the west.
Visualizations:
The kitchen largely repeats the motive of the entire interior. Wood predominates, but the work surface is made of artificial stone. Visually, the structure is massive, so the chairs and lamps that have been added to the kitchen are very light and visually balance the composition.
By the nature of its execution, the bathroom differs from the main part of the interior in materials: here instead of wood, artificial stone prevails and only occasionally you can notice individual wooden elements, such as a bench near a large window.
The main side of the terrace faces the valley with a good view of the surrounding nature of the hotel and these houses. There is a large fireplace and several comfortable light sofas that can be easily removed if necessary.
