Brief
My good friend Stephanie approached me to come up with a new logo for her start-up business, a women's hair salon in Mellieħa, Malta. Stephanie expressed the desire for a logo that is current & timeless. The newly designed mark should communicate well the attributes that Stephanie wants her business to be associated with.
Logo Rationale
The logo takes is a combination mark as it makes use of both a word mark & icon, however, it is mostly dominated by a typeface which was carefully chosen for the logo. 'SHRIMP' is the typeface used and it works well as it is bold, legible and connects well to the purpose & scenario.
