Sheet metal light project designed for the University of Johannesburg.
The brief was to design a mid-range outdoor light made from mainly sheet metal. The light incorporated an existiong PAR 38 outdoor light fitting and came in a veriety of powdervcoated finishes as well as brushed stainless steel.  
My design is based on a flat pack concept allowing the product to be sold in its individual parts and hand bent at home due to the bend reliefs incorporated in the flat pattern. This design makes it possible for the light to be used in small businesses or residential homes.
