Seven Creative Strategies

Seven Creative Strategies
In this project, titled "7 Creative Strategies," I was to select a simple, useful object and then represent it through the lens of each of the seven creative strategies: Combination, Juxtaposition, Isolation, Metaphor (Simile), Change of Context (Environment), Shape Similarity, and Material Change (Swap/Focus).

My selected object is the Spray Bottle, commonly used for applying cleaning chemicals, water or other liquids to a surface.  Also used in water battles with siblings.

Below are my compositions (presented in alternating orientation order), as seen through my personal lens for each of the seven creative strategies.  Enjoy!

Juxtaposition - "Fire it up!"
Fire It Up is a combination of two photos on a black background.  Don't try this at home.

Combinations - "Watching over the Swimming Hole"
Watching Over the Swimming Hole is a combination of three separate photos. The pelican was very happy with his new skill.

Isolation - "Out of Gas"
Out of Gas is a representation of that last gasp when the gas runs out... poof!  Two photos on a black background.

Physical Shape Similarity - "The Cleaning Tower of Pisa"
The Cleaning Tower of Pisa is the combination of 3 photos.  Don't lean it too far or it might all spill out!

Change of Context - "Surf's Way Up!"
Surf's Way Up! is the combination of 4 photos and some sea spray.  I think I'd suggest a helmet.

Material Change - "Make Lemonade"
When life gives you a spray nozzle and a lemon, Make Lemonade.  A combination of three photos and a fun textured yellow background.

Metaphor - "Making of the Milky Way"
The Making of the Milky Way is the combination of 4 photos. Was the Milky Way created from sneeze or spray bottle?  Oh, neither!

Isolation, Change of Context, Metaphor - "Mister in the Mist"
This is not one of the final 7 images, but I spent a lot of time on it, and wanted to at least include it in the bonus materli
