This is my hand-painted illustration for World Rhino Day 2020. It was an art movement started by WWF India to spread awareness about the poaching of Rhinos in Africa and Asia. How they have come to a critically endangered status. 

I have made use of an Indian art form called Gond Art. It is a folk art of India, believed to have originated in the central part of India, practised by the Gond Tribe. 

I have always loved the vibrant style of folk art painting, and it is therapeutic to sometimes hand-paint the illustrations.
